Happy June! This is the 50th comic. To celebrate, my graphics card has died.

Yayyy!

Turning my laptop on only results in whirring fans and an unlit screen. It doesn’t even pull up a picture on an external monitor, so, yeah — I’m pretty sure the GPU is toast. It’s alright, though. I got almost a full five years out of it.

Nonetheless, as you can see, this creates problems for updating the comic. This afternoon I put together these emergency panels (can’t really call it a strip), scanned them, put them together in MS Paint — that was the fun part, like flying a plane without instruments — and have uploaded the comic on my roommate’s laptop.

I’ve found an affordable new computer that I’m going to order. It just takes a little psyching up first, like jumping off the cliffs at the lake. Once that gets here, I’ll reinstall my sneebletwips and transfer all the bangophlangs and everything’ll be back to normal. (Or even better . . . ?)

In the meantime, I don’t plan on missing an update. It might just be more rabbit-outta-the-hat stuff like this, though. I’ll see what I can do.
