That’s it! “Down Under” is done. IT ONLY TOOK 3 MONTHS. I don’t know about you, but I’m relieved. I’m ready to draw somethin’ else.

I enjoyed the story, but I’m glad they’re back on the surface. It’s like when I watch a movie or play a video game with a lot of wintry vistas and start to feel chilly in real life, all those Ocean Depths backgrounds were starting to freak me out a little.
Yeah, that’s my fault with the backgrounds. I could’ve drawn them a lot more colorfully and vividly than I did. If you look at the title page for this one, it’s bright blue and there’s all kinds of wacky flora/fauna — but it just ended up being a level of detail I couldn’t keep up with.
Oh well. Onward and upward, as they say.
