#133
Planet Comicon’s been over for a few days, and I think everybody had a great time. Being there for 3 days was kind of exhausting, and I never really got a chance to leave my table for a long time, and I sort of got sick Saturday night — but WHATEVER it was awesome.
I did a lot of sketches before and after, about half of which are posted on my Twitter right now. This weekend, I’m gonna upload them all to this website in the PLANET COMICON SKETCHES MEGAPOST. You can see all the one-of-a-kind drawings I gave away, and feel super cool if you got one.
But one new thing you can check out right now is on my Other Comics page. A few months ago, a friend in Australia came to me with some short comic ideas about a little girl and some old school computer games. We haven’t done very much, and it wouldn’t be another consistently posted thing like Dinosaur Kid, and neither of us is really sure where it’s going — but she said it was cool if I posted them here. Let me know if you like ’em.
Glad to see you are still plugging away here! Great to hear you were at planet comicon. Hopefully we’ll run into each other one of these days!
It was nice meeting you at comic con, and I enjoyed your panel on web comics a lot.
I have the dinosaur skeleton sketch up in my cubicle at work, and have gotten many compliments for it.
Regards,
Your Humble Room Monitor
I’m glad you took that one — it might’ve been a little too macabre for the kids.
It was a pleasure to meet you at Comicon. It was nice to talk to someone who was so genuinely happy to be there sharing their work. After looking around your comics, I am really hooked. Going to share them with a dino loving little boy, so you will likely have a fan for life.
Did I seem genuinely happy? Wow, that’s good. (I can only remember feeling like a sluggg.)
